Giardino means garden in Italian, and leafy sprays of flowers allow this dinnerware pattern to aptly live up to its name. A sunny yellow center on each bowl and plate, surrounded by flowers of pink and blue, lends a cheerful air. Pink and green stripes circle the yellow center, while yellow and blue stripes accent the rim. This 16-piece dinnerware set, service for four, consists of four of each of the following: 11-1/4-inch dinner plate, 8-inch salad plate, 8-1/2-inch soup or pasta bowl, and a 14-ounce mug. The mug is glazed white on the inside. Large and flat with just a slightly upturned rim, the dinner plate doubles as a serving platter for luncheon sandwiches or a small cake.

Made in Italy of chip-resistant ceramic, each Caleca dinnerware piece is hand-painted by skilled artisans with glazes that meet US standards by being free of lead and cadmium.
