Winner of a 2002 international design award, Loft dinnerware epitomizes an urban, modern lifestyle with its clean, all-white forms. The German-made porcelain is kept elegantly spare except for a subtle pattern of fine concentric circles that feels pleasing to the touch. While the Loft collection encompasses both round and square shapes for mix-and-match individuality, this particular 16-piece starter set contains just the round. Included are four place settings, each of which consists of the following: an 11-inch dinner plate, an 8-1/2-inch salad plate, a 9-1/2-inch coupe-style soup bowl, and a straight-sided mug.

Rosenthal, long one of Germany's most prestigious porcelain manufacturers, produces dinnerware that graces the tables of outstanding hotels and restaurants worldwide. Loft was created by the Queensbury-Hunt Design Group for the Thomas brand that falls under Rosenthal's umbrella.
